I want to keep members updated on our chapter meeting plans. As you already know activities for August have been cancelled. We have just received word that the WNYG&SEA Rally has been cancelled. That means our director and general membership meetings planned for Saturday, September 12 at the clubhouse during the WNYG&SEA Rally is also cancelled because of COVID-19 concerns.
This cancellation continues to abort any club plans we make for 2020. The global pandemic impacts our daily lives and activities well into the fall season. While I am sure you are equally disappointed how chapter happenings are on pause, we must focus on the well being and health of our membership. How terrible we would feel if we learned we contributed to someone getting the coronavirus after months of observing social distancing and wearing masks.
We will hope for the best and I will confer with the board of directors about our annual election where directors Dale and Harry's terms are up. A timely newsletter before then will explain our moving forward. Until then I remain available for any concerns at 585-225-7218.
